CB FUNKFREUNDE HASSBERGE
Welcome to our website, we hope you like it ! Have fun with the hobby 73+55. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us: cbdxclub@gmail.com .

BORN OUT OF AN IDEA
WE ARE BACK!
We are the CB Funkfreunde Hassberge and had all been on CB radio QRV in the 80s, but some of us stopped radioing in the 90s. But various circumstances brought us back to our old hobby. We can now be found on 35 FM / 27.355 MHz. Today we can realise our youthful dreams better and more effectively. We intend to go full throttle here in terms of CB radio … We also intend to be active in the area of private emergency radio in order to be able to react quickly throughout the mountains and beyond in the event of a disaster such as a blackout, or as in the Ahr valley etc.. After all, what use is the best mobile phone if the transmission masts are paralysed? What use is BOS digital radio to the authorities if it fails in the event of a disaster? NOTHING!!! But then the analogue CB radio is of the utmost importance! What many people don’t realise is that the amateur radio operators who take up their positions in the district offices in an emergency are only responsible for official radio, not for the civilian population. And that’s where the good old CB radio and those who still operate it come into play! Namely WE!

COME JOIN US
WE’RE ON THE AIR
The CB Funkfreunde Hassberge are looking to grow and unite as many CB radio operators as possible in the Hassberge region.
For us, it’s important to be heard and to listen – every QSO, every DX contact brings us joy. That’s why we’ve decided to bring back the tradition of QSL cards! Each of our members has their own QSL card, plus a special card representing the CB Funkfreunde group – printed the traditional way and ready to be sent by mail!
On our website, you’ll find our email address (cbdxclub@gmail.com) and instructions on how to get your own card. Of course, we’re happy to receive a QSL card back from you in return!
If you’re ever in the Haßberge area and feel like checking in, just call out on Channel 35 FM – 27.355 MHz. There’s almost always someone QRV…

CQ – THE CALL OF BROTHERS
Hello DX brothers worldwide!
We, the CB Funkfreunde Hassberge, love DXing – and that’s why we’re active on various channels and frequencies.
Whether FM, AM, or SSB – the thrill of the chase is what makes this radio hobby truly exciting! Although many of us are also licensed radio amateurs, we consciously chose CB radio. Thanks to experts like Hans Müller (Kucha Hans) and Gerhard Maurer, both old and new CB radios are back on frequency and performing flawlessly.
We are CB radio operators with heart and soul – and we’re staying that way!
If you’ve made a DX contact with one of us and would like to exchange QSL cards, feel free to email us at:📧cbdxclub@gmail.com
Please include your skip name, operator name, and mailing address, and we’ll send our QSL cards to you via post.
Old school is still the best school!
Thank you – and happy DX!
CB radio operator voices are stronger.

CHECK IT OUT
WEBSDR Rhoen
Here you can use the WEB-SDR of the Rhönrunde.
Whether you just want to listen or check if your own signal makes it to the WEB-SDR – everything is possible!
It’s truly an excellent WEB-SDR that Hotel Lima has set up – he definitely has our respect for it!
Overcome local interference and long distances
Check out the Dillberg Web-SDR!
If you can’t hear the Bayernrunde directly – whether due to local interference, an unfavorable location, or simply being too far away – you can still participate via the Dillberg Web-SDR!
If you’d like, you can also leave a small donation via PayPal. Every euro helps to keep the Web-SDR alive!

RADIO CAMARADERIE
CB RHÖNRUNDE
The CB Funkfreunde Haßberge share a close camaraderie with the CB Rhönrunde. We support our friend “Hotel Lima” and all fellow radio operators in expanding the reach and propagation of the Rhönrunde! More and more head stations are being added, so the Rhönrunde can now be heard every Saturday on Channel 22 FM – even beyond the borders of Franconia…

Who or what are the Pirate Hill Breakers
Pirate Hill Breakers
The Pirate Hill is a piece of land provided to us by a fellow radio operator. Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances, “Pirate Hill” is only accessible in summer – otherwise it would end in a mud battle. Efforts to make the hill usable in winter were denied.
In summer, however, Pirate Hill blossoms in all its beauty, and a few “Pirate Hill Breakers” will once again be QRV from 400 meters elevation with high antennas!
Since not every radio friend from the CB Funkfreunde Hassberge – whether for health or time reasons – can or wants to go “up the hill” on weekends, a group within the group has formed.
However, any radio operator who wants to is always welcome to visit us on Pirate Hill and get on the air.
So open your squelch and listen in during summer on FM/AM/USB or LSB – maybe you’ll catch the CQ call of the Pirate Hill Breakers!

We’re part of it!
Bayernrunde 8 USB
Every Sunday morning from 10:00 AM you can hear the Bayernrunde on channel 8 USB. You can actively take part or simply listen in to hear who’s out there. If you can’t receive the Bayernrunde directly, you can use one of several Web-SDRs!
We from the CB Funkfreunde Hassberge are always happy to check in to the Bayernrunde every Sunday. By now, it’s become part of our Sunday ritual – just like fresh rolls! We support the Bayernrunde wherever and however we can, as this round is probably unique worldwide. What’s been created here deserves the respect of every dedicated radio operator!
If you feel like joining on a Sunday, just give a break call on channel 8 USB from 10:00 AM onward. If you say your callsign right away, it’s even easier to get into the round!

Every Sunday at 8:00 PM on channel 35 (27.355 MHz)
The Sunday USB Round
For the past few weeks, we’ve been starting a USB Sunday Round every Sunday at 8:00 PM. This round is like a regulars’ table: everyone is welcome, everyone can join in and take part. In summer, it’s quite possible that one or two radio friends head up to Pirate Hill or another hill to carry the round further into the Franconian countryside. But most radio friends will join the round from home.
Why did we decide to switch to USB? We’ve always had a Sunday round on FM. But now that almost all of our radio friends have new SSB devices from Kucha-Hans or older rigs from Gerhard Maurer, and since most are already on frequency, we decided to go with a USB round.
We don’t aim to compete with the Rhönrunde or the Bayernrunde. Nor do we intend to copy these top-tier rounds. Our goal is simply to bring more attention to SSB – because with good equipment, SSB is just plain fun! And maybe we’ll bring that fun into your living room on a Sunday evening.
So drop a break on channel 35 (27.355 MHz) this Sunday at 8:00 PM – we’re looking forward to hearing from you!

Discover Freenet – Clear Signals, More Fun!
Of course, we’re also QRV on Freenet. In our opinion, Freenet is quite underrated. Operating there is really fun, because on 2 meters you experience far less interference, and the audio quality is surprisingly good. You’ll find us on channel 1 / 149.025 MHz!
If you’re ever on 149.025 MHz, just break in – we’re happy about every QSO! Almost all CB Funkfreunde Hassberge members can operate on Freenet, so feel free to call out if you’re in Haßfurt. Freenet is a great addition to CB radio. So tune in and say hi!

CB Funkfreunde Bamberg Umland
The radio camaraderie between the CB Funkfreunde Hassberge and the CB Funkfreunde Bamberg Umland is something truly special! We were brought together by our radio friend Mike1, who sadly passed away far too soon. It is thanks to him that we, the CB Funkfreunde Hassberge, got to know so many wonderful radio friends – and for that, we are truly grateful!
In memory of a great person and radio operator, we will always consider this connection to the CB Funkfreunde Bamberg Umland as a very special gift!
If you’re ever in Bamberg or the surrounding area, don’t miss the chance to call out on channel 18 FM!
